Sales Professional - Outside Sales

The Pre-Planning Advisor (PPA) is a self‑starter who achieves quota by selling pre‑need arrangements and services and serving families in a professional, caring manner. Job Responsibilities Lead generation: maintain prospecting of at least 4 hours daily to network and build referral relationships. Follow up with families after services, obtain referrals, and nurture relationships. Present Dignity Memorial® Personal Planning Guide and explain pre-need benefits. Maintain activity tracking, manage schedule flexibly to hit results, often working evenings and weekends. Build and maintain strong business relationships with families, including support during grief and consistent communication. Work cooperatively with funeral directors, location managers, and other staff to provide seamless service. Review previous services and contacts to prepare for current needs and sales opportunities. Minimum Qualifications High school education or equivalent (1–2 years of college or equivalent experience). Current state/province driver’s license with acceptable record; in states requiring a Funeral Director’s License, must hold it. 1–2 years sales or industry experience, or equivalent education. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred. Proficiency with computers and basic technology in a sales environment. Ability to work well independently and in a team, often beyond standard hours. Good driving record, strong work ethic, high integrity, and creativity. Comfortable presenting in front of others; bilingual a plus. Compensation Targeted compensation $50,000 – $100,000, with higher earnings potential based on performance.
