Customer Service Specialist Cincinnati, OH Contract-to-Hire | First Shift

Pay - $18.50 to $19.50

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join its team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, account updates, billing questions, and service-related requests while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist residential, commercial, and business customers with account questions, service requests, billing concerns, payments, and account maintenance
• Resolve customer issues efficiently while providing clear explanations and solutions
• Document customer interactions accurately within company systems
• Create and update service requests, work orders, and account records as needed
• Process customer payments and assist with online payment tools and account access
• Identify customer concerns and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate timely resolutions
• Support customer retention efforts by understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies regarding data security and customer information
• Participate in training initiatives and assist with onboarding and supporting newer team members when needed
• Complete special projects and data entry assignments while meeting quality and productivity standards
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented attitude and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, account support, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls and customer interactions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Accurate data entry and computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and commitment to scheduled work hours
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
