Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to identify their treatment needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques, ensuring clients receive the most effective care.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy, adapting strategies based on client responses.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, demonstrating professionalism and a calm demeanor while providing immediate support or intervention as necessary.
• Participate in regular team meetings for case reviews and professional development, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with are primarily considered low-acuity, including individuals dealing with anxiety, mild depression, and adjustment issues. You will focus on building rapport and trust to facilitate open communication, empowering clients to share their experiences and goals in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• Active and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required, with a Master's or Doctoral degree preferred.
• The ability to establish and maintain strong therapeutic alliances with clients, showcasing empathy, active listening, and cultural competence.
• Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in time management to handle caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates who have at least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, especially those who have worked with diverse populations and various therapeutic approaches. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is advantageous and contributes to effective client engagement in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
