Feature Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Create, update, and track Customer Feature Objectives (CFOs) efficiently.
- Conduct thorough analysis to ensure all CFOs align with project objectives and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and follow best practices to align on a global strategy for new features.
- Support platform and program-specific new feature development.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and voice of customer clinics to support the development process.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university.
- 3 to 5 years of automotive experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience.
- Good project coordination skills.
- Automotive Systems Background.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262.
- Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of INCOSE requirements decomposition.
- Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university.
- Knowledge of IBM DOORS or similar ALM/PLM management tools.
- Systems Engineering experience.
- Experience with system network topology diagrams.
- Ability to understand problems from all aspects (Software, Hardware, Field).
- Knowledge of a functional domain (i.e., Body, Chassis, Electrical, Interior).
- Automotive Systems understanding.
- Functional Domain (electrical, chassis, interior) understanding.
