Facilities Technician I

Job TitleLead the installation of equipment and labor for cap-ex projects, rollouts, and any construction maintenance service desk request for existing Sheetz Store locations.This position offers a base hourly range of $23.72 - $43.14 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance. And there's more – A LOT more… like competitive salaries, PTO and parental leave, 401k match and employee stock ownership, limitless professional development and growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, full medical, vision and dental coverage, and snack discounts!Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)Lead the installation of all construction maintenance, rollout material, and cap-ex materials at Sheetz Store locations.Provide mentorship and direction to technicians on site.Ensure and execute all safety regulations are followed per federal, state, local, and Sheetz requirements.Participate in training recently hired technicians, ensuring installation of construction equipment follows established guidelines and requirements.Be able to read, write, and follow instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams.Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards.Drive the development of our crews through communication with outside vendors with specific to company values, visions, & policies.Prepare and present progress of jobs on a regular basis.Complete all assigned work in a timely, efficient manner according to company standards.Coordinate and execute exterior property maintenance services, including parking lot cleaning, truck-mounted power washing operations, building exterior cleaning, parking lot line painting, and other projects to maintain a safe, clean, and professional store appearance as required.Qualifications(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)EducationHigh School Diploma/GED requiredTechnical/Trade/Sheetz training requiredExperienceMinimum 3 years' experience in construction required.Previous field supervisory experience preferred.Licenses/Certifications (Ability to attain required licenses within one year of acceptance)Valid Driver's License required.Valid DOT medical card required.EPA certifications – license I and II preferred.CPR/First Aid preferred.Tools & EquipmentGeneral Office EquipmentHand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)Power Hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)Pneumatic tools (compressor, nailer, stapler, jack hammer, etc.)Welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.)Landscaping tools (chain saw, leaf blower, weed eater, etc.)Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)Heavy Equipment: (Loader and attachments, lift, etc.)AccommodationsSheetz is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
