Maintenance Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Menomonie, Wisconsin plant, you will lead the maintenance function to ensure reliable, efficient manufacturing operations while minimizing downtime and sustaining peak plant performance.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesLead plant maintenance and operations to reduce downtime and achieve optimal equipment performanceDirect the maintenance team, setting expectations and driving performance and accountabilityPromote and manage safety across the Maintenance techniciansPromote and manage Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Affairs and Good Manufacturing Practices requirementsDevelop and manage the maintenance operating budget while monitoring departmental expendituresSupport planning and cost estimation for annual and long-term capital budgetsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and operational permitsManage and track Maintenance Department metrics to drive performance improvementsEstablish standards and systems for evaluating maintenance work, including contractor servicesReview work completion through reports, inspections, and collaboration with plant teams, contractors, and suppliersPartner with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability Center of Excellence to eliminate equipment failures and sustain base conditionsParticipate in Reliability Center of Excellence initiatives and implement standardized systems and processesEnsure priority maintenance losses are identified, understood, and addressed through action plansDrive SAP usage, compliance, and skill development across the maintenance teamAssess technician capabilities, identify skill gaps, and implement development plansIngredients Required for Your SuccessExperience leading teams Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenanceExperience with SAP Plant Maintenance systems Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, infrared, and ultrasoundUnderstanding of programmable logic controllers and control systemsPhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
