Finance & Accounting Intern (Fall Intern) : To assist the Finance and Accounting department with Accounts Payable (Service, Supply, Trane, Parklawn).

Job Type: Intern

Seasonal: Fall

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Office Location: Gaithersburg, MD

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

What you will do:

Accounts payable - assist with Trane Invoice Indexing and Vouchering
Accounts payable - assist with Service, Supply, and Parklawn Business-related costing (indexing)
Accounts payable - assist with Statement Reconciliation
Respond to client requests for invoices and/or statements
Accounts receivable – support as needed
Assist with department-related projects
Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

Currently pursuing a college degree
1 year of work experience preferred
Client service experience preferred
Knowledgeable in MS Office; Adobe and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to prioritize, and strong critical thinking and listening skills
Detailed, organized, analytical, able to multitask, enjoys staying busy

Physical Requirements:

Sitting for extended periods of time
Ability to work in standard office environment
