Medical Receptionist / Assistant part-time to full-time position opening soon at a high-end concierge orthopedics clinic. Help manage and maintain all activities at the office and work as personal assistant to the physician. We maintain a calm and motivating environment, making this a great way to get exciting medical experience in a pleasant work environment in the surgical field involving unique and complex cases. Work closely communicating with the doctor and patients, making a great way to gain medical experience and work in a fun exciting position. Some medical experience will be preferred but no one specific field or experience is mandatory, and we will not fill the position until we find the right person. Can be full-time or flexible part-time, but must be in office. Hours vary, generally between 9:30am - 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

Must be friendly, kind, organized, and have good communication skills. Warmly greet patients, schedule patients by phone or email, take payments, organize forms and to-do lists, complete tasks, and work directly with the physician and patients in a wide variety of care.

Qualifications

Must be organized (we like checklists!), kind, friendly, courteous, pleasant, good at organizing tasks including calendars, email, documents, and phone calls. Must be good with to-do lists and data management. Though not necessary, it may help to have some form of medical, scientific, and/or athletics background (e.g., be able to engage in conversations with patient interests such as running, fitness, nutrition, sports, or to help converse with patients regarding conditions and treatments). The ability to work with social media and multimedia editing is also a plus.

Hours will be M-F 9:30am until finish (usually around 30-40 hours per week, and we try to give flexibility on scheduling when possible). Location in Orem.
