Dock Worker- 2nd Shift -Bolingbrook IL - Starting Hourly Range $20.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr.

Description Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states. The Dock Worker is responsible for picking and staging inbound and outbound product orders, and loading and moving material on and off trucks. Function Daily inspection of forklifts and check of trailer safety Work from verbal orders and written production sheets Update orders placed by Sales Reps Load and unload trailers Pick and palletize RSR orders Maintain product flow in and out of the freezer Perform daily housekeeping of dock area, including but not limited to sweeping dock area and emptying garbage Use forklift, hand pallet jacks, hand carts, computer, trailer refer equipment, and common office supplies Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition Move route trucks in yard when required Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands Must be able to stand and move around the work area Forklift operation may involve periods of prolonged sitting Requires bending, squatting, climbing, reaching to gather and move picked items Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs Must be able to push/pull pallet jack loaded with material weighing up to 1400 lbs Work takes place in a warehouse environment which includes working in, on and around open docks and freezer unit.
