As Associate Manager, Business Intelligence, you will:

Position Summary

The IIA is seeking an Associate Manager, Business Intelligence to support the delivery and execution of Business Intelligence solutions across the organization.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a BI or analytics professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with business partnership. You will design, build, automate, and maintain dashboards, reports, datasets, and analytics solutions that support strategic business and financial decision-making.

Working closely with business stakeholders and BI leadership, you will translate reporting and analytics needs into effective solutions, lead assigned BI initiatives, perform ad hoc financial analysis, and help ensure that BI outputs are accurate, reliable, consistent, and easy to use.

Although this position carries an Associate Manager title, it does not have direct reports. You will lead through expertise, ownership, collaboration, and influence across cross-functional teams.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Lake Mary, Florida, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.

What You'll DoBusiness Intelligence & Analytics

• Lead assigned BI work across a rotating portfolio of analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and datasets using Power BI, SQL, and other enterprise BI tools.
• Maintain and automate recurring weekly and monthly reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Perform ad hoc financial and business analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure BI deliverables meet expectations for data accuracy, consistency, performance, and usability.
• Enhance existing dashboards, reports, and analytics assets through stakeholder feedback and continuous improvement.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, answer business questions, and generate actionable insights.

Stakeholder Partnership & Data Storytelling

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and decision-support needs.
• Lead requirements discussions and contribute to solution design for assigned BI initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into practical dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics solutions.
• Communicate findings through clear and compelling data visualizations, presentations, and data-driven narratives for business users and leadership.
• Use strong business judgment and analytical thinking to help stakeholders interpret data and make informed decisions.

Data Quality, Reporting Standards & Automation

• Apply established BI standards, KPI definitions, and reporting conventions consistently across deliverables.
• Validate data, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, consolidate, automate, or improve existing dashboards and reports.
• Contribute to BI documentation, definitions, and reference materials to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Support ongoing improvements to BI delivery processes and analytics capabilities.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate closely with BI leadership to align assigned work with organizational priorities and expectations.
• Partner cross-functionally to increase the effective use of data in business decision-making.
• Contribute ideas and practical improvements that strengthen BI processes, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Support the integration of AI-driven capabilities into day-to-day business processes where appropriate.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related role, with experience delivering insights and recommendations that support business needs.
• 1+ years of experience using SQL and other programming languages to analyze, explore, and work with large datasets for reporting, dashboard development, and ad hoc analysis.
• Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and automating reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar enterprise data visualization tools.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions and integrating AI-driven capabilities into day-to-day business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to create clear, engaging data visualizations and presentations that communicate insights effectively.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, particularly when working with complex information or multiple data sources.
• Sound judgment and the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions, and make recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and work effectively across functions.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, with strong initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
