Customer Development Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Customer Development Coordinator to join their team. As a Customer Development Coordinator, you will be part of the Customer Service department supporting customer relationship growth and account development. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Customer Development Coordinator Location: Oak Ridge, TN Pay Range: 20-23/hr Shift: 8a-5p M-F What's the Job? Develop smaller and infrequent customer accounts to foster stronger relationships. Serve as an internal point of contact for assigned customer groups, reviewing purchasing history and identifying new opportunities. Research customer businesses using various sources to understand their needs and identify potential growth areas. Investigate declining or inactive accounts to determine underlying causes and recommend follow-up actions. Turn customer conversations into actionable next steps, including quotes, samples, and introductions, coordinating with sales teams as needed. What's Needed? Excellent communication skills and comfort initiating conversations over the phone. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and research tools. Willingness to learn about business processes and customer needs. Relevant experience in customer service, research, or administrative roles is helpful but not required; early-career applicants are encouraged to apply. What's in it for me?
