Location: Oak Ridge, TN Job Title: Control Account Manager Career Level From: Specialist Career Level To: Senior Specialist Job Specialty: Production Projects What You'll Do The Control Account Manager (CAM) supports the DSW Program Managers and is responsible for managing the cost and schedule performance of assigned control accounts. The CAM serves as the primary point of contact for planning, execution and reporting by leveraging strong communication skills to lead cross-functional teams. Responsibility for: Ensures that Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles are followed, and the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) is correct,including preparation of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) monthly to explain deviation in performance from the baseline schedule Provide Monthly Earned Value status for each assigned Control Account Ensure execution organizations have the correct charge numbers for the work being performed Assist the program managers with identifying risks, contingency, and validating cost estimates for anything that prohibits the scope withinassigned Control Accounts from being accomplished within the baseline cost and schedule perimeters Develop corrective actions and write trends as necessary to address deviations for the PMB Leading the development of mitigation strategies for the associated risks throughout the life of the Control Accounts Coordinating with Product and Process Engineers to effectively manage assigned control accounts What You Can Expect Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security Top-notch, dedicated colleagues Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization Career advancement and professional development programs Work-life balance fostered through flexible work options and wellness initiatives Bachelor's degree: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience OR PhD Twelve or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting Preferred Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years Knowledge of Material Capability Areas associated with manufacturing CSA components Experience working in or supporting Capability Production Areas Experience with Earned Value Management systems, risk management and performanceimprovements such as writing variance analysis, developing risk analysis andmitigation strategies Why Y-12?
