Job Summary
MRI Technologist to join its High-Risk team. This position focuses on performing breast MRI examinations for high-risk and newly diagnosed patients while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Explain MRI procedures to patients and ensure all MRI safety protocols are followed.
- Review patient medical histories and screening forms to determine MRI safety eligibility.
- Initiate IV access and assist patients with proper positioning for MRI examinations.
- Perform breast MRI scans for up to 20 patients per day.
- Collaborate with radiologists and assist with MRI-guided biopsy procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state licensure applicable to MRI technologists.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous breast MRI experience is preferred but not required; training is available.
