Adjunct-Instructor, STEM - Prison Program (RISE)

Job Description Raritan Valley Community College’s Returning & Incarcerated Student Education (RISE) Program seeks adjunct instructors for its prison-education initiative, offering the college’s AA degree in Liberal Arts to incarcerated students in New Jersey. The positions are available in multiple prison facilities in Rahway, Bridgeton, Newark, Yardville, and Clinton. Classes are scheduled on weekdays and evenings to accommodate instructors’ busy schedules. Responsibilities Provide high-quality instruction in one of the following disciplines: General/Developmental Mathematics Biology Geology Astronomy Requirements Minimum of a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
