Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 53 days Shift: Multiple Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Open to recent graduates and less than 1 year of experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience. License: RN Certifications: CPR/BLS Card, TB Skin Test, Hepatitis B vaccination or declination of offered vaccine, COVID Vaccines Card. Must-Have: 1. Candidate Resume 2. Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card 3. 7-year background check including OIG/APS name clearance check 4. Skills Assessment Checklist 5. Competency Tests 6. Drug Test Description: Schedule: Full-time or PRN is accepted. Administer medication and perform treatments on an assigned unit, as ordered by the physician and within the scope of license. Receive and deliver a variety of information regarding the residents' medical, social, functional, and other needs. Participate in the receiving and giving of shift reports. Communicate with residents, family, and staff as necessary to ensure the resident receives appropriate care from the interdisciplinary team. Perform the initial admission nursing assessment on a newly admitted resident. Assist with the development of the Minimum Data Set assessments, ongoing quarterly reviews, and care plans. Maintain appropriate clinical and administrative documentation regarding diagnosis, assessments, treatment, and summary of client progress. Lead and perform limited supervision of subordinate staff and assist as needed with direct resident care for the completion of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility. Conduct and participate in in-service training and staff development programs for regularly employed staff and other duties as assigned. Utilize problem-solving concepts and tools for continuous work/process improvements and efficiency. Demonstrate knowledge of gerontological/geriatric nursing theory and practices. Assess residents' condition and changing medical/physical/psychological care needs. Understand practices and procedures of team nursing. Develop treatment plans for resident/patient care. Apply and interpret regulations governing professional nursing practices and the management of medical supplies and medications. Employ professional nursing methods and techniques. Observe and assess behavior and progress of patients. Develop and carry out patient care plans within a team nursing concept. Exhibit effective oral and written communication. Build interpersonal relationships. Learn, implement, and monitor methods for problem-solving and continuous work/process improvement and efficiency.
