Role Description The Optician role at Eyetique is a full-time, on-site position located in Wexford, PA. In this role, the Optician assists clients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences, ensuring proper fit and comfort. Daily responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, advising on lens options and coatings, taking measurements, performing adjustments and minor repairs, and educating clients on eyewear care. The Optician collaborates closely with optometrists and other team members to support eye exams, coordinate patient flow, and maintain accurate records. The role also involves providing high-quality customer service, handling sales transactions, and contributing to a clean, organized, and professional retail environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of optics and lens technologies, including lens materials, designs, and coatings. Understanding of optometry and eye exams to effectively interpret prescriptions and support clinical workflows. Demonstrated customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust. Attention to detail in frame fitting, measurements, adjustments, and product selection. ABO certification or equivalent optician credential preferred; willingness to pursue certification if not already obtained. Experience in optical retail or healthcare settings is beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform fine motor tasks, and use optical tools and equipment safely. Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and inventory processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
