Job Description Summary Mechanic Job Responsibilities This mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil‑gas equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired. 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade. Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs. Physical Demands The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Base Pay Range Base Pay Range: $24.58 - $33.80 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
