Job Title FBS Coordinator I Agency Texas A&M University Department Finance - College of Veterinary Medicine Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description A Glimpse of the Job The Finance & Business Services Coordinator I, under general supervision, is responsible for processing a variety of general accounting/business tasks of Texas A&M Centralized Finance and Business Services, which may be specific or unique to a department/college, as well as providing general finance support to department personnel. Does not supervise others. Essential Duties Business Support

• May enter and review travel expense reports
• Meets established processing goals as directed
• May prepare and update standard reports
• May assist with account verification or reconciliation and research

discrepancies * May assist with gathering transaction data/information Accounting/Documentation * Prepares and coordinates documentation of basic purchasing documents including vouchers, payment cards, and vendors * Enters documentation for contracts, receipts, and invoices in the appropriate system with minimal errors * Reviews documents for mathematical accuracy, proper coding, compliance, and approval as directed

• Assigns commodity or account codes to requisitions and invoices as directed
• May review financial transactions for compliance

Customer Support * May coordinate problem-solving and/or training for customers on tracking, payment issues or general expense questions

• May coordinate a specialized task for one or more units
• May research and communicate policies and procedures to unit or departments
• May provide customer service

Departmental Tasks * Complies data from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Electronic Medical Records program to create invoices for specific VMBS/VMTH agreements * Acts as the AVMA PLIT liaison with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital for invoicing verification & submission Other * May provide customer service What You Need to Know Salary: $48,000-$52,000 annually Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume will assist us in our review of your application materials. • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Four years of related experience
