Full-Time Housekeeping Aide Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time Join Our Team as a Housekeeping Aide! A respected skilled nursing and long-term care center in Cincinnati is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services team. If you have experience in housekeeping, laundry services, environmental services, janitorial cleaning, custodial work, healthcare housekeeping, nursing home cleaning, or hotel housekeeping , we encourage you to apply. Our Housekeeping Aides play a critical role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This position is ideal for candidates who take pride in cleanliness, infection control, and delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for providing high-quality housekeeping and laundry services throughout the facility, including: Cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, hallways, bathrooms, dining areas, and common spaces Performing discharge cleaning and terminal cleaning according to infection control standards Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, scrubbing, and disinfecting surfaces Cleaning beds, furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, and other facility areas Following healthcare housekeeping procedures and sanitation protocols Replenishing supplies including soap, paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper Keeping housekeeping carts organized, stocked, and ready for daily assignments Completing assigned environmental services projects and deep-cleaning tasks Washing, drying, sorting, folding, and distributing laundry Assisting in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests Following all OSHA, infection prevention, and facility safety guidelines Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, custodial services, environmental services, janitorial services, hospitality housekeeping, healthcare housekeeping, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred: Experience working in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, skilled nursing facility (SNF), hospital, assisted living community, or healthcare environment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices Desired Skills Strong attention to detail Excellent attendance and reliability Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Compassion and respect for elderly residents Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Benefits We value our employees and offer: Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance Career growth opportunities Stable full-time employment Supportive leadership team Rewarding opportunity to serve seniors and make a difference every day #J-18808-Ljbffr Lincoln Crawford Care Center
