Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HWL Program - Iroquois Healthcare Association.

Additional Details:

If declining flu vaccination, must complete facility-specific form.

Unit Details: Med surg with rare pediatric patient population. RN ratio: 7:1 may go to 8 but is rare. Common patient diagnosis: CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issue, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, COVID. EMR system used: Sorian.

Shift & Scheduling: No on-call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required

2 Charge/Lead references required

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
