I'm currently partnering on a Development Accounting Manager opportunity with a well-established and growing organization in the multifamily real estate development & construction industry. This is a highly visible leadership role supporting an active development portfolio and partnering closely with development, construction, treasury, and executive leadership. Great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the strategic and hands‑on side of development accounting. Ideal background: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within real estate development, construction, or property accounting Strong experience with development draws, lender reporting, joint venture compliance, and job cost accounting Month‑end/year‑end close, financial statement preparation, and multi‑entity accounting Experience managing construction financing, development entities, and cash management Leadership experience mentoring or managing accounting staff Process improvement mindset with strong internal controls focus ERP systems experience such as Sage Intacct / Sage 300 highly preferred Advanced Excel skills Houston-based Competitive compensation + bonus Leadership opportunity managing a team Strong visibility with senior leadership and direct impact on an active development portfolio #J-18808-Ljbffr Tarvos Talent
