Pasta Design is a modern fresh pasta concept focused on high-quality ingredients, handmade pasta, and a fast-casual counter-service experience. We combine traditional Italian techniques with a contemporary approach, offering guests freshly prepared pasta dishes made to order in a welcoming and efficient environment. Our goal is to bring authentic, comforting pasta to the community in a simple, fresh, and accessible way.
Responsibilities
● Greet customers as they arrive at the counter and thank them as they leave.
● Take customer orders accurately and efficiently at the counter.
● Clearly explain menu items and promote our fresh pasta offerings.
● Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service in a counter-service environment.
● Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payments.
● Enter orders correctly into the system and confirm accuracy before sending them to the kitchen.
● Assemble, package, and hand out takeout and dine-in orders at the counter.
● Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and presented properly before being given to customers.
● Answer customer questions and assist with modifications or special requests.
● Keep the front counter, POS area, and customer-facing space clean and organized at all times.
● Restock packaging materials, utensils, napkins, and other front-of-house supplies as needed.
● Communicate clearly with the kitchen to ensure smooth and accurate order flow.
● Follow all company procedures for food safety, cleanliness, and cash handling.
Qualifications
● Proven experience as a cashier or in customer service.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate clearly and listen carefully.
● Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced counter-service environment.
● Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Part-Time Afternoon Position
Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
3:30 PM – 8:30 PM
