Take your career to the next level as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Sunnyvale, CA! This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11. You’ll provide dedicated onsite therapy services at two respected school locations, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults.

Utilize your unique skills to help students achieve their fullest potential by working directly with diverse learners and collaborating closely with educators and families. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in pediatric therapy and expand your experience in a supportive, team-based setting.

Qualifications:

• Current California Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in accordance with the CA Occupational Therapy Practice Act
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy with a focus on developmental disabilities
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to onsite services only (not open to virtual or hybrid work)

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor development and functional skills within the educational context
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students’ academic and physical success
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff to support individualized educational goals
• Document interventions, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Empower students to thrive in academic and social activities
