Survey CAD tech
A small, established civil engineering and surveying firm in Pennsylvania is looking for an experienced Survey Draftsman to join its team. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of local surveying and land development projects in a collaborative, close-knit environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare boundary, topographic, ALTA, subdivision, and existing-conditions survey plans
- Draft survey drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Process field data and incorporate survey information into plan sets
- Review deeds, plats, easements, and other property records
- Work closely with survey field crews, surveyors, and civil engineers
- Assist with revisions, quality control, and final plan preparation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of surveying drafting experience preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Understanding of surveying principles, plans, deeds, and field notes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Carlson or other survey software experience is a plus
