Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, CV/Renal/Metabolism

Regeneron seeks a Senior Medical Director to lead clinical development for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic programs, particularly obesity-related therapies. This role involves developing clinical strategy, designing Phase 2/3 programs, and overseeing regulatory submissions while collaborating across discovery, operations, and safety teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical strategies to accelerate development timelines within regulatory constraints
- Design and oversee Phase 2/3 clinical trial programs
- Partner with discovery teams on Phase 1 testing plans and target identification
- Ensure patient safety in clinical studies and monitor post-marketing surveillance signals
- Lead publication strategy, external communications, and clinical documentation quality
Requirements
- MD or equivalent advanced medical degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or Cardiology
- Minimum 4+ years clinical development experience in industry
- Demonstrated experience with protocol design and study execution
- Experience with regulatory filings and health authority interactions preferred
Compensation: $333,300-$450,900 base
