About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Nights | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced cardiac support devices
• Participate in weekend rotation (every other weekend) and holiday coverage as required
• Adhere to unit protocols and documentation standards using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar ICU setting
• CT surgery experience required
• Experience with cardiac support devices such as IABP and Impella required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between ICU and step-down or intermediate care units
• Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac patient populations
