Sr Director, Global Distribution Operations & Logistics

Senior Director leading global distribution operations and logistics networks for Cytiva, a Danaher life sciences company. Responsible for optimizing multi-site warehousing, transportation, and 3PL partnerships while driving continuous improvement across a complex, high-velocity distribution footprint serving 10,000+ SKUs.
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute enterprise logistics strategies across company-run and 3PL distribution centers aligned with business growth
- Lead large, complex distribution operations managing 10,000+ SKUs with sustained service and workforce productivity gains
- Provide strategic oversight of global transportation operations including inbound, outbound, international, and intercompany logistics
- Champion continuous improvement culture, standardizing processes, metrics, and best practices across global network
- Manage 3PL and carrier performance while driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and digital transformation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- 15+ years progressive logistics and distribution operations experience; 5+ years in senior leadership role
- Direct experience leading global logistics networks including air/ocean freight and multi-modal transportation
- Operating expense budget ownership at $100M+ level with P&L accountability
- Demonstrated expertise negotiating and managing sophisticated 3PL and carrier contracts
- International team leadership across time zones, cultures, and multiple employment structures
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate operational impact
Compensation: $225,000 - $275,000 base; plus bonus/incentive pay eligible
