Customer Care Representative

This Customer Service Rep will serve as the primary point of contact for this location, providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients. This individual will complete patient registration and intake for patients arriving for CPAP machine fittings. Key duties include verifying patient information, collecting and entering accurate demographic and insurance data, scheduling and confirming appointments as needed, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Strong customer service, communication, and attention-to-detail skills are essential for success in this role. Qualified candidates should have experience handling 60+ inbound calls per day in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with insurance verification, patient access, healthcare customer service, or a related healthcare support role is highly preferred. • Responsible for providing support during process improvement initiatives to assist with driving all areas of workflow, including verification and data analysis. • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company • Must be familiar with payer guidelines and reading clinical documentation to determine qualification status and compliance for all equipment and services. • Working knowledge in all areas of AdaptHealth customer service, intake, daily operations and revenue cycle processes and workflows from beginning to end, which may include a. Review all required documentation to ensure accuracy b. Accurately process, verify, and/or submit documentation c. Complete insurance verification to determine the patient’s eligibility, coverage, co-insurance, and deductibles

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
