Our UK-based client is hiring a full-time, remote appointment setter based in South Africa. Your mission is simple to describe and satisfying to master: turn lists of prospects into confirmed, qualified appointments for the sales team. Long-term role, UK business hours, uncapped respect for people who deliver.
The client is a growing UK business with a strong offer and a sales team hungry for conversations. What they need is a professional opener - someone who enjoys the phone, handles a no without flinching, and treats every dial as a fresh chance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Calling warm and cold prospect lists to introduce the client's offer
- Qualifying prospects against clear criteria before booking
- Booking confirmed appointments directly into the sales team's calendars
- Sending professional confirmation and reminder messages to reduce no-shows
- Logging every call, outcome and follow-up accurately in the CRM
- Testing and refining openers and scripts with the team
- Hitting daily activity targets and weekly booking goals
Your day is structured around call blocks: focused sessions on the dialler with breaks to log outcomes and line up the next list. Between blocks you will confirm upcoming appointments, chase reschedules, and keep the CRM spotless so the sales team always knows what is coming.
You will review your numbers daily - dials, conversations, bookings - and work with the team to sharpen what you say and when you say it. Every week you will know exactly what you delivered, and so will the client.
This suits a South African professional with energy, rhythm and a thick skin - someone who sounds like a human, not a script, and who quietly loves the scoreboard. Experience helps, but consistency wins.
