Registered Nurse - GI/Endoscopy

Schedule

This is a 4 - 10's day shift position with a shared on-call rotation and a variable schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong skills in GI/Endoscopy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of acute GI/Endoscopy experience, with charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in various settings including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and for hospital procedures requiring conscious sedation.
• Perform thorough nursing assessments, including peri-operative education and care.
• Recognize and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Float to the entire Outpatient Services area as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute GI/Endoscopy experience required.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Current RN license required.
