• Shift: 5 x 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Mon–Fri (flexibility required; high priority for Mon & Fri coverage; no consecutive days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital — 20 ORs, multiple NORA locations (IR, EP, ENDO, MRI) — hospital anesthesia & NORA experience highly valued
• Patient Population: All ages; 60+ cases per day
• EMR: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred)
• Equipment: Drager anesthesia machines, Philips monitoring

Key Qualifications (CRNA Requirements)

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) board certification
• Active North Carolina state license (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1–2 years of CRNA clinical experience (no new graduates)
• Current ACLS & PALS certifications
• Ability to float between main OR and satellite/NORA locations as needed
• Preferred: experience with cardiac/vascular, neuro, and pediatric anesthesia (facility does not require hearts & lungs experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases: general, orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT/ophthalmology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, and trauma
• Deliver anesthesia services in both OR and non-OR (NORA) settings, including IR, EP, ENDO, and MRI
• Collaborate closely with attending anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float between main hospital and satellite locations as assigned; adapt to high-case-volume workflow (60+ cases/day)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC EMR and complete perioperative records
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs
