Production Associate 1st Shift

Job Description Base pay rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour 1st Shift: 4:30AM - 1:30PM, Monday - Friday (seasonal Saturdays) ; hours may vary depending on operations. The Production Associate position is responsible for assisting mill operators, operating side loaders, and other warehouse duties as assigned. A strong work ethic and adherence to all safety processes is essential. Responsibilities Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment Safely operating a variety of power tools including electric and pneumatic Banding and clearing all lines and placing products in outside racks Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts. Attaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct parts. Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems Read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules Team player and keeping safety first May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader Willing/able to work overtime Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment A minimum of one year operating manufacturing machinery and/or equipment Good Communication Skills Basic Computer Skills Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment and nail guns Able to use measuring gauges Able to read a tape measure Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Additional Information Site Address: 1326 Paddock Place Woodland CA 95776 This is a position with the potential of overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year. The US pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.)
