Aircraft Avionics Technician

Avionics TechnicianHave 1st and 2nd shift openings.6 month contract to hireOpen to any airframe experiencePerform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on AW139 helicopters and other aircraft in an FAA repair station environment. Responsibilities include wire harness fabrication, system diagnostics, avionics modifications, and maintenance documentation. Work with systems such as transponders, navigation/communication equipment, radar, and DME while supporting heavy maintenance and completion projects.Requirements:4+ years of avionics experienceFAA repair station experienceStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to read wiring diagrams/schematicsExperience with avionics installations, repairs, and wire harness fabricationOwnership of basic avionics hand toolsAbility to work overtime as neededPreferred:AW139 or other helicopter experienceGarmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics experienceFCC GROL and/or FAA A&P certificationCorporate, commercial, military, or helicopter aviation experienceWork Environment: Based in a Philadelphia-area MRO and completion center, supporting helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance, modifications, and avionics installations in a fast-paced, safety-focused hangar environment.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
