Personal Banking Supervisor

Location On‑site at our Mayville Office in Mayville, ND. No expectation to work Saturdays or Bank Holidays. Essential Functions Directly supervise savings employees in the office by providing coaching, motivation, and recognition. Assist office leadership with goal setting to achieve bank goals. Provide input at savings meetings and share ideas in developing and maintaining savings products and services. Conduct regular staff meetings, assuring staff is engaged. Answer customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies. Open new accounts, process necessary information, and educate customers about services and products available. Interview lending customers to obtain financial history. Analyze information and sell customers products and services that best meet their needs. Prepare personal loan applications completely, accurately, and in accordance with Federal guidelines and the bank’s policies and procedures. Consistently inform and sell customers on credit life, disability insurance, and GAP insurance. Use every customer contact as an opportunity to advise customers about additional services or programs that may benefit them. Supervisory Responsibilities Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Personal Banking. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the bank’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Leverage team strengths, clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training to maximize individual and bank goals. Interview, hire, and train team members; plan, assign, and direct work; give real‑time feedback; recognize, reward, and discipline team members; address complaints; and resolve problems. Ensure team members stay current on issues affecting job‑related duties, responsibilities, and trends on a consistent basis. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field desired. 2‑5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
