Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies for over 90 years! We are looking for a Builder Estimator to join our growing team!

$50,000 to $60,000 a year. Salary based on experience.
Position Summary

The Builder Estimator prepares accurate material quantities, takeoffs, and cost estimates for residential builder flooring projects. This role supports bidding, field verification, and coordination with project teams.
Key Responsibilities

Project Estimating - Review builder plans and specifications to produce accurate estimates.
Material Takeoffs - Generate detailed takeoffs for ordering flooring materials.
Team Coordination - Work with project managers, sales, and installers to clarify project needs.

Qualifications

Education - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Experience - 1-3 years of estimating experience; flooring or interior finishes a plus.
Technical Skills - Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Software Knowledge - Experience with Measure Square, AutoCAD, Callidus, or similar takeoff tools preferred.
Communication - Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
Independence - Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems.
