The Guthrie Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in The Villages, Florida. Work Environment

Located centrally in The Villages, Florida, our rehabilitation facility provides an engaging onsite environment where patient care takes precedence. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care by assessing and diagnosing patients' needs, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure each individual receives comprehensive attention and support throughout their recovery process.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques and manual therapy modalities to promote optimal mobility and function.
• Incorporate a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and minimizing reliance on medications whenever possible.
• Engage patients in active participation and adherence to their treatment plans, encouraging progress through motivation and support.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, to maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.
• Regularly evaluate and re-assess patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and strategies for injury prevention and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on outpatient clients, including individuals with various orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-operative recovery needs, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will engage with diverse patients of different age groups and backgrounds, providing clinical interventions that enhance their physical health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a comprehensive understanding of advanced physical therapy practices.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is mandatory.
• No history of sanctions, board proceedings, or disciplinary actions with respect to licensure.
• Expertise in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities is essential.
• A proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that cater to a broad range of patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems is vital for thorough documentation and efficient practice management.
• Updated knowledge of research-supported therapeutic techniques to provide patients with the best care possible.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly in sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in improving patient outcomes through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The Guthrie Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
