Location: Hood River, OR

Start Date: 09/18/2026

Duration: Full-time opportunity (flexible coverage options)

Shift: Clinic hours (8am-5pm), 24-hour and night call shifts (7am-7am or 5pm-7am)

Hours/Week: Guaranteed 8 hours per day, overtime available after 9 hours

Employment Type: W-2, Locum & Permanent options available

Licenses/Certs: Oregon Medical License (active), DEA, BLS, NRP, Board Certified or Board Eligible

Experience: Previous OB/GYN experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care at a reputable facility
• Assist with in-office procedures, minor GYN surgeries, and OR cases
• Manage obstetric deliveries—expect around 0-2 deliveries during 24-hour shifts
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Cover scheduled clinic days and participate in call rotations (once every 1-2 weeks)
• Respond to emergency cases such as ectopic pregnancies when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and case logs for privileges and credentialing

What You Need

• Required:
• Oregon medical license (active)
• DEA registration
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (show recent case logs)
• Ability to provide privileges for OB and GYN procedures
• Preferred:
• Prior OB/GYN practice experience
• Flexibility to work in inpatient and outpatient settings

About the Assignment This position supports a busy obstetrics and gynecology unit, offering both outpatient clinic services and inpatient coverage. Providers will help manage deliveries, perform minor procedures, and respond to emergent cases. The work schedule is designed for flexibility, accommodating full-time or alternating week coverage, with shifts tailored to fit your availability.
