Research Assistant

Job TitleThis job will be assisting the faculty member in a variety of research tasks. As a temporary position, hours are offered on a project-by-project basis. Flexible hours.ResponsibilitiesResearches and collects data through complex techniques and procedures.Conduct a literature review of qualitative and quantitative studies.Clean and organize secondary quantitative data from various resources.Writes and edits technical materials for publication.Reports on the status of research activities.Requirements and QualificationAbility to apply sound research techniques, methodology, and logical critical analysis.Effective written communication with the ability to write technical reports.Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed work environment.Communicate effectively with faculty concerning research projectThe Pennsylvania State University is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in all of its forms.
