Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center offering general and vascular MRI services, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT/ACR certification. Requirements Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required BLS and ACR certification required IEMA certification preferred but not required License required if applicable EPIC EMR experience required Siemens equipment experience preferred Skills in general MRI and vascular imaging required Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Responsibilities Work in the MRI unit of a Level 1 Trauma Center with Level II NICU, Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet designation 3 MRI beds total, 2 inpatient and 1 outpatient Inpatient and outpatient patient population, including general MRI and vascular imaging 1:1 patient ratio 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 40 standard hours per week Every other weekend rotation with occasional additional weekends communicated in advance Varying on-call requirements as posted by department No floating required Support available on-site includes Supervisor, RT, and Hospitalist coverage 24/7 Orientation includes at least one shift to learn unit flow Time off requests must be approved through the manager Holiday expectations as posted by department Scrub color required is Caribbean Blue Free parking available on-site First-time travelers considered upon review No radius rules apply; local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Former Advocate Health employees must be separated for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for travel assignments COVID vaccine required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-743981 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
