Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and educational team collaboration
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• CPR certification (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students with diverse abilities, ages, and diagnoses
• Assess student mobility needs and create targeted, effective intervention plans
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into each student's day
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Educate and support school staff on appropriate therapeutic interventions and classroom accommodations
