This large hospital in Northern Virginia provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care services. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and infrastructure to support advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology coverage. Locum tenens clinicians will work on-site, serving an adult patient population across both care settings.

Northern Virginia offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests, including historic sites such as Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens and Great Falls National Park, as well as performing arts venues and museums. The area is recognized for its equestrian culture, featuring steeplechase races, horse shows, and polo matches, alongside opportunities for hiking, shopping, and farm visits including apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Clinicians on assignment may also explore nearby areas such as Alexandria and Arlington, with trolley tours and guided walking tours available throughout the region.

The clinician will provide advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology coverage across both inpatient and outpatient settings at a large hospital in Northern Virginia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with the option of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is required.
