This mid-sized hospital maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurology coverage. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians delivering day shift neurological care to the inpatient population. All services are provided on-site throughout the coverage period.

Virginia offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The region features opportunities for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and birding across natural habitats, along with scenic drives and accessible hiking trails. Community events such as craft shows and seasonal festivals are available throughout the area, providing year-round options for clinicians on assignment.

The neurology nurse practitioner will provide inpatient coverage during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities encompass bread and butter neurology cases in an on-site inpatient setting. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens assignment.
