System Engineer - Field Tech Support

Overview Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support Logistics, Sustainment, and Field Technical Support for the Midway program located in King of Prussia, PA. The role is part of the Global Sustainment team, focusing on depot and field-level hardware support, maintenance, and logistics operations. Responsibilities Interface with program LPM on prioritization and execution of hardware maintenance activities; support forecasting system maintenance for delivered systems. Perform depot-level hardware troubleshooting and repairs on-site and in deployed environments to meet customer commitments. Ensure efficient process flow for hardware repair, shipment, and delivery. Execute preventive and corrective hardware maintenance procedures to ensure system availability. Maintain spare hardware and repair parts in compliance with system requirements. Conduct annual property inventories and reconcile GFE repair parts/tools. Procure and manage bench stock levels on-site and at each deployed location. Qualifications & Requirements Top Secret clearance prior to start. Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements. Ability to travel 10-25% of the time depending on priorities. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and fast‑paced environment skills. Experience maintaining complex military systems and troubleshooting complex hardware. Ability to analyze wiring diagrams and schematics; troubleshoot, isolate, and repair systems using technical data. Familiarity with depot and field maintenance procedures and repair methods. Understanding of supply chain management, production controls, and planning. Experience documenting maintenance faults and corrective actions in a maintenance information system. Monitor system obsolescence reporting and track high-priority items to end-of-life. Security Clearance Requirement This position requires a US Citizen with a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
