Core Technician I

Job Description:
The Core Technician is a hands-on scientific production role responsible for supporting the manufacturing of sterile biological pharmaceutical products in a cGMP cleanroom environment. The role requires strong adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and documentation standards. Candidates must be comfortable working in full aseptic gowning, performing repetitive accuracy-critical tasks, and maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulatory guidelines; ensure team compliance.
• Perform production procedures strictly according to written SOPs, batch records, and cGMP requirements.
• Identify and report deviations from accepted practices.
• Maintain quality systems, documentation accuracy, and compliance for all assigned activities.
• Work primarily in a cleanroom environment with full aseptic gowning (scrubs, hood, mask, boots, double gloves).
• Support operational readiness by maintaining equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members to maintain a positive work environment.
• ssign tasks clearly, monitor progress, and manage competing priorities when leading others.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
• High School Diploma with intermediate lab experience in a cGMP clinical production environment.
• Bachelor's degree with basic lab experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or cGMP production.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or sterile environment preferred.
• Familiarity with SOPs, GMP, GDP, and safety compliance.
• Experience handling documentation, deviations, and regulated processes.
