Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in North Las Vegas, NV

A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in North Las Vegas, NV, requires per diem pharmacist coverage starting June 1st. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist capable of independently managing pharmacy operations without the assistance of a pharmacy technician. The pharmacist will be working as the sole pharmacist on site, conducting patient care in a setting with a volume of approximately 20-35 prescriptions per day.


Schedule:

• Monday, 6/1, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, 6/2, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, 6/3, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, 6/10, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  *Training will be provided prior to June 1st.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while managing the workflow independently
• Provide high-level patient care, especially for HIV/AIDS specialty needs
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure punctual attendance and maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to process prescriptions and manage records

Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license
• Experience in retail pharmacy, preferably within HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy
• Strong communication skills to support patient and provider interactions
• Proven reliability and commitment to punctuality
• Ability to efficiently manage pharmacy volume without technician support

This is a per diem position in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Training will be provided before starting, ensuring readiness for independent work on site.
