A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated pharmacist for regular per diem coverage starting June 1. This opportunity offers a unique chance to manage a single-pharmacist site with no pharmacy technician support, serving approximately 20-35 prescriptions daily. Training can be arranged before your first day to ensure you are comfortable in this specialized setting.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions, focusing on HIV/AIDS medications
• Provide high-level patient care and support with clear, compassionate communication
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage all pharmacy operations independently due to lack of technician assistance
• Maintain punctuality and reliability, committing to assigned coverage days
• Use QS1 pharmacy software to process prescriptions (experience preferred)

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license required
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is essential and must be highlighted on your resume
• Familiarity with QS1 software is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and providers
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently without technician support
