A Day in the Life:

• Design and develop scalable, end-to-end applications using Angular 19+, Node.js, and the NestJS framework.
• Lead solution design discussions and translate evolving business and technical needs into practical, maintainable application architecture.
• Build and integrate AI-enabled capabilities using model APIs and services such as Amazon Bedrock and Claude.
• Develop and refine natural language prompts to improve the accuracy, reliability, and usability of AI-powered application features.
• Use Cursor extensively as part of the day-to-day development workflow to accelerate coding, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
• Build, deploy, and support cloud-based applications and services within AWS environments.
• Apply a strong understanding of large language models and related AI concepts when evaluating technical approaches and integration patterns.
• Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows.
• Work independently to solve complex technical challenges, make informed decisions, and move initiatives forward when requirements are still taking shape.
• Collaborate confidently with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, clearly communicating solution recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Contribute hands-on throughout the development lifecycle, from initial solution design and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Consultative approach and problem solving skills to successfully align digital solutions with long-term business goals of the client
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role
• Claude Certified Developer or Architect highly preferred; possible opportunity to obtain as a Sparq colleague
• Commitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations
• Ability to perform project oversight and execution of deliverables
