This role owns the analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Finance‑related business systems and processes, with a strong emphasis on ERP optimization and enterprise system maturity.The ideal candidate blends strong finance and business process knowledge with hands‑on systems expertise and enjoys leading cross‑functional initiatives from concept through implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Process ExcellencePartner Finance leads to gather, document, and validate business requirements for new system enhancements and implementationsConduct gap analyses and recommend best‑practice business processes and system solutionsCollaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to evaluate and optimize existing business processes and Epicor workflowsSystems Leadership & OwnershipServe as the Finance functional lead for system upgrades and enhancements, managing the full project lifecycle from requirements through deployment and post‑go‑live supportLead the revamp and ongoing governance of the company’s part-creation process, including establishing monitoring, controls, and review proceduresMaintain detailed documentation of Finance‑related system configurations and processesTesting, Controls & GovernanceLead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance systems, including test scenario design, execution coordination, documentation, and audit‑ready tracking of resultsSupport ongoing system monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesStrategy & EnablementPartner with Finance leadership to develop and maintain a strategic systems roadmap aligned with long‑term business objectivesDevelop and maintain the Finance team’s internal knowledge site, documentation, and user resourcesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field5+ years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar roleStrong understanding of end-to-end business processes across supply chain, logistics, finance, manufacturing, and operationsProven experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or enterprise transformation initiativesWorking knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP platforms preferredStrong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting softwareUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across levelsAbility to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute initiatives through completionSelf-directed with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaborationVulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match. The annual base salary range for this position is $112,300.00 to $154,000.00
