Position Title: Operator 1, Warehouse Operations

Location: Four Oaks, NC

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Assignment Dates: 02/16/2026 – 02/13/2027

Assignment Type: Temp to perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs)

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Operator 1, Warehouse Operations role supports material handling and warehouse operations by safely moving materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods using various types of industrial equipment. This position works within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs), follows quality guidelines, and operates under general to limited supervision in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks

• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the warehouse or plant

• Maintain accurate records as required

• Follow established SOPs, scientific methods, and quality guidelines

• Complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps within assigned process areas

• Communicate effectively with coworkers and Team Leads/Supervisors

• Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards at all times

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 6 months of forklift driving experience

• Previous work experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to obtain and/or maintain required licenses, training, or certifications

• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• General computer skills

• Ability to work effectively in a metrics-driven environment

• Effective communication skills

Experience Requirements

• Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse or related experience and/or training

• Basic skills training in operational process areas such as material handling, logistics, or manufacturing production

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, crouch, reach, pull, push, twist, and lift throughout the shift

• Frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and repetitive motion

• Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme weather conditions

• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles

• Work environment may be hot in summer (no air conditioning) and cold in winter (limited heating)

• Noise level ranges from moderate to loud
