Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading/unloading trailers, picking products, and preparing pallets.
- Perform tasks with accuracy and resolve errors per guidelines.
- Document and manage re-warehousing processes.
- Accurately pick products, requiring physical activity such as bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.
- Participate in inventory activities when required.
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely, reporting damages promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and monitor operational goals.
- Follow lean manufacturing and 5S practices to ensure a clean, safe, and secure work environment.
- Learn other responsibilities and provide backup support when needed.
- Assist with additional tasks, participate in daily stretching, and adhere to Good Documentation Practices.
- High School diploma, GED, or 1 year of related experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Physical stamina to bend, lift, and stand regularly (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Basic analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with distribution documents and metrics-driven operations.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply).
- Proficiency in typing and operating required equipment.
- Manual dexterity and good judgment.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively under minimal supervision.
